My recent assignment for Digital Applied & Illustration was one of the assignment that made me think quite alot. One of the reason is because I've never make a self portrait before. And it's my first time doing a drawing through AI.
This is my progress, how i draw it, selecting the right colour, background, hue/saturration, opacity. If you look closely, I'm actually trying to do a pop art comic style. Look at my references, I tride to follow but I'm not good at selecting the right colour. So yeah, below is my final result. And I'm proud to say my self portrait was selected to be hung on the wall at Raffles! :) Ima happy/proud/ a lil dissapointed because my portrait isn't that good actually. But still I can put it up on the wall...
IMPORTANT : the BOOM font as u can see has change when i print it out is because I forgot to trace it in AI. So the font changed back to Arial. But still it looks nice :)
