Digital and Applied Illustration.

My recent assignment for Digital Applied & Illustration was one of the assignment that made me think quite alot. One of the reason is because I've never make a self portrait before. And it's my first time doing a drawing through AI.

This is my progress, how i draw it, selecting the right colour, background, hue/saturration, opacity. If you look closely, I'm actually trying to do a pop art comic style. Look at my references, I tride to follow but I'm not good at selecting the right colour. So yeah, below is my final result. And I'm proud to say my self portrait was selected to be hung on the wall at Raffles! :) Ima happy/proud/ a lil dissapointed because my portrait isn't that good actually. But still I can put it up on the wall...

IMPORTANT : the BOOM font as u can see has change when i print it out is because I forgot to trace it in AI. So the font changed back to Arial. But still it looks nice :)

Canon 600D test shot.

All this photos are taken with the Canon 600D, 18-55 lens. Manual mode. This photos are not edited. Only watermarks are added on it.

Canon 600D in the House!

Yeap that's right! It's the Canon 600D. Just got it and now it's ready to be used.  Just doing a simple blog post about it and me unboxing it :)

Of course the camera comes with a strap, USB cable, software, user manual, a camera body (no lens) cause I'll be getting a more advenced third party lens in the future. So currently I'm using my dad's Canon 450D kit lens (he has his kick ass zoom and wide angle lens) . 

One thing different about this model with the previous Canon 550D is this one has a rotating screen which enable user to capture image from different angle. That's all for this episode :)

Yes that's right, it's the TechduoLive event that happened recently. For those of you who missed it, that's sad. Cause the first techduoLive was awesome! Lot's of give away, fun activities, free refreshment, goodie bags and more. 

Everyone will recieve a lucky draw number. Mine was Number 012 :) The reason for this lucky draw number is for the give away activites later on during the show.



Not many people came early, but in the end alot people came for the live show.







TechduoLive begins at 3.00 p.m sharp at Stabucks TTDI. The 2 host for this show is obviously the 2 guy from Techduology which is Smashpop and Ben Jern. Lot's of humour in their talks and they really keep the hype going through out the whole show.







They also invited a few special guest including PhatFabes and Chammaine. In this segment there was an awkward moment when Techdulogy talks about bra and Chammaine was ask to comment about it.







There are some games and activites through out the show.


They also manage to get a guy from Geekzen.com to showcase a few product and also give away a few items that are not release yet in Malaysia ( If I'm not mistaken). The few items he give away include Prop, Boombotix, Pop Phone, iRun performance earphone and many more.

The final give away was a phone. A Sony Xperia. The thing we need to do for this game is simple, just find out the exact date for the first Techduology video and you walk away with the phone.


The lucky bastard who got the phone. HAHA. Congratrz. he was using his iPad to find the answer. And it was really quick. He deserve it.


If you looks closely, he is wearing a Iron Man helmet. Holding a Captain America shield on his left hand, and he is also holding a Mjolnir. Confused Hero...
